Minchiang Printing was established in 1970 as a printing factory focused on packaging design. Initially an OEM company, it transitioned to ODM and has since diversified, investing in the research and development of home products. Minchiang continually invests in the latest equipment and technology, researches and applies new materials, and strives to enhance product structure and design innovation, offering comprehensive services to its customers. Currently, our business extends to the U.S. and Europe, with ongoing expansion to global markets.

Minchiang has rich experience in processing and material applications for various products in the packaging market. We develop customized products tailored to customer needs, including not only paper box packaging but also PVC blister packaging, EVA foam cushioning packaging, and home decorative stickers. In recent years, Minchiang has continued to push forward with the latest technologies and the transformation of the printing industry. In addition to meeting market demands, we are dedicated to the research and development of our own products. Printing is all about color accuracy, and effective color management is crucial to meet the customer's needs and preferences. The appearance of colors can often be influenced by external factors, such as different light sources, like natural sunlight or fluorescent lighting, as well as individual variations in visual perception. As a result, the expression of colors can vary. To ensure standardized color measurements in printing, we use the X-RITE spectrophotometer from the U.S. This tool combines the measurement of four-color CMYK halftones, enabling us to accurately determine whether halftones are over-extended or insufficient. For special colors, it can measure LAB values. Using Lab values not only ensures the highest level of accuracy but also guarantees color consistency across all printed materials.

The Pantone 8 series color chart can print metallic colors with special textures. Generally, custom colors need to be mixed to achieve this effect, but four-color printing cannot simulate Pantone and metallic colors accurately. For example, purple, when printed with four-color printing, often appears muddy due to the overlapping dots of red and blue plates, and lacks metallic brightness. Currently, we have developed a 5-color printing technology for metallic colors that achieves over 90% similarity. Designers can now use multiple metallic colors in addition to the four primary colors and complete the print job within five colors, effectively saving time and enhancing both design and printing results. Our newly purchased German KBA 105 Pro 6+L is a six-color printing press with gloss functionality. In addition to the four primary colors, it includes two special colors or metallic colors, and can complete two processes in one machine with added gloss or matte oil.
